| Ooops.. |
I had this dream on June 22 and at the time I wasn't sure what it referred to. Have a look:
We were at a vacation place in the mountains. The house was old but well built. I went walking and saw a huge fat rocket explode. I thought it might fall on me but momentum took it away from us. Instead, fiery foam fell, which I feared would burn the town up, but the fire went out quickly and there was only the foam left. People worried about what was in the foam, but it wasn’t otherwise harmful. Went to a store where there weren’t enough employees to help us. The management, and there were a lot of them, were in the back just sitting around. I yelled at the regional supervisor that what they were doing was unacceptable, but he ran away from me. When I left I heard a lot of meowing cats who were frightened by the foam event. I consoled some of them.I don't often have dreams that refer to larger events, but I do sometimes. In this case, I think the dream refers to something that will happen to our larger culture at least at some level. Because a jet or a rocket refer to "paths" that many people take together. A jet is obvious, because so many different people are onboard. The rocket is less obvious, but it takes many people to build and operate a rocket.
The rocket dream is meant to reassure me that no matter how bad things look at first, it won't be as bad as it appears.
A store, in the spiritual, dream sense, is a place where we get those things that we use to make our lives. Our abilities, opportunities, and life lessons can be thought of as "food" in a spiritual sense, out of which our spiritual selves are formed, in much the same way our physical bodies are built out of the physical foods we eat.
In this situation, the "managers" are spiritual agents of some sort. But I don't believe anything that happens in this world, at least anything big enough to be described by rockets launching, happens without these spiritual agents being involved. Their attitude is that of someone who knows what's happening right now doesn't matter to them. When I went looking for the regional supervisor, he gave me an "oh crap!" look and ran away quickly. I doubt this is because the fellow is afraid of me, but because he does not want to give away something.
There are a few things going on in our world around us that could fit these facts. So I'm passing this dream along to reassure readers that maybe things in the outer world, when they start looking bad, aren't really as bad as they look.
Now I gotta go console some cats..
